Lessons from the 144,000 – Revelation 14:3-5

Revelation 14:3-5 - “And they sang a new song before the throne and before the four living creatures and the elders.  No one could learn the song except the 144,000 who had been redeemed from the earth.  These are those who did not defile themselves with women, for they remained virgins.  They follow the Lamb wherever he goes.  They were purchased from among mankind and offered as first fruits to God and the…

Whose Names Are in the Book of Life-Revelation 13;8-9

Revelation 13:8-10 – “All inhabitants of the earth will worship the beast—all whose names have not been written in the book of life belonging to the Lamb that was slain from the creation of the world.  He, who has an ear, let him hear.  If anyone is to go into captivity, into captivity he will go.  If anyone is to be killed with the sword, with the sword he will be killed.  This calls for patient endurance and faithfulness on the part of the saints.”

This sentence gives…

The Seventh Trumpet - Revelation 11:15

Revelation 11:15 - The seventh angel sounded his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven, which said:  “The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Messiah, and he will reign forever and ever.”

Revelation 11 is the halfway point through the book, and here the Lord gives a reminder of where everything is heading.  Christ returns and reigns forever with those who consecrated…

Worship of the Twenty-Four Elders - Revelation 11:16

Revelation 11:16 – “And the twenty-four elders, who were seated on their thrones before Our Most High, fell on their faces and worshiped Yahushua…”

This passage describes a song in heaven when yahushua’s project is complete – when messiah returns and establishes his throne on earth.  It also teaches some deep lessons for Christians today.…

The Salvation, the Power, and the Kingdom of Our Most High – Revelation 12:10-11

Revelation 12:10-11 - “Now have come the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our Most High, and the authority of his messiah. For the accuser of our brothers, who accuses them before our Most High day and night, has been hurled down.  They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death…” …

Peace and Safety

I know the world is longing for peace but the only way to peace is through the soon return of the "prince of peace".

Isaiah prophesied his coming over 2750 years ago.

"For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders...he will be called... Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and peace there will be no end." Isa. 9:6-7.

at His first coming, was 0ver 2000 years ago, he came as the "suffering savior" born to a…

Watching while the oligarchs plot and the enchanted play into their hands

I am a resident of a suburb of the city of Chicago, Illinois. No doubt, the lot of you have heard about the major preparations the city of Chicago has been undertaking to combat some expected major protesting expected to storm downtown during the NATO summit, spending months strategizing, bringing in out-of-state police, and then some. This has been hyped on the news for months, teasing with warnings regarding Occupy groups who rally for some grassroots-driven change, groups which appeal…

PATIENCE

PATIENCE

What is patience?

As I thought about that word this evening. I tried to come up with a definition. I decided to look the word up in a dictionary, thinking that would give me the answer I was looking for. This is what Webster's defines patience as :

Definition of PATIENCE

1 : the capacity, habit, or fact of being patient(see 1…

Answer me when I call, O Elohim of my righteousness! You gave relief to me when I was in distress; Show favour to me, and hear my prayer.

Till when, O you sons of men, Would you turn my esteem to shame, Would you love emptiness, seek falsehood? Selah.

But know that יהוה has separated a kind one for Himself; יהוה hears when I call to Him.

Tremble, and do not sin. Speak within your heart on your bed, and be still. Selah.

Offer sacrifices of righteousness,…

A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance

Today, I would have been married to my husband for 16 years. Over three years ago, he was killed in a motorcycle accident. The past few anniversaries have been rather rough. Today seemed a little easier. I used the day to reflect on the path my life has taken. It certainly has been an adventure. For those of you that know me, it sure has been a ride. Each obstacle on the journey, YHWH made a way to continue. I should have been killed after a beating in 2001, yet here I am…

Founder
A great Big Praise Report

I'm happy to announce that after 5 years of praying and hoping and almost losing hope at some times, my household is Finally Moving. :D

We're saying goodbye to the stinky city which has been something of a little prison for almost 11 years for some of us...less for others (but still much too long in their opinion). No one here is a big appreciator of urban life and it was beginning to drain the life out of us. Our persistent prayer to Him was to put us in the country, get us out of…

Does JESUS give us...

Greetings brothers and sisters.

Does JESUS give us birthday presents? Well let me tell you a story I witnessed myself this past week gone by.

4/13 was and is Deb's birthday. She as many of you know has had a rather rough time finding a permanent job. She had applied with the state here many times. Had been offered a job with the "transit authority" but because she had given her word to another firm she declined that job. That job turned out to be the "job from…

Nuclear melt down... Pt. 2.

Greetings brothers and sister in the LORD.

Where to begin, where to begin... The Libyan thing is I believe a distraction away from what is a true danger to everyone. Especially those poor souls in Japan near the site in Fukishima.

I caught one report stating that the levels were 10, 000, 000 times the safe limit, then another saying it was only 100,000 times greater than what is safe. 10,000,000 or 100,000 times the safe limit is well, to HIGH. Many of you remember what… Continue

Nuclear melt down or...

Greetings in the name of the King of kings...

As many of you know I was a soldier for many years, one of my MOS's was Nuclear, Biological and Chemical warfare specialist or NBC. I was the Battalion NBC NCO while in Europe for over three years. I trained many units during that time. I am currently keeping a very close eye on what is taking place at the reactors in Japan.

I have to hit the books for a bit so I can get my facts correct. But radiation levels that we are… Continue

My dearest brothers and sisters...

My brother and sisters in the LORD...

To convey to you all the blessings your friendships has brought to Deb and I would take me a long, long time to write out and you'd all be blind by the time you finished reading it.

To have those we love turn in an instant into someone you can't even recognize, is a heart and gut wrenching experience. To find that the love you thought was shared, was only a one sided endeavor is always a hard pill to swallow. Having to cut the ties and… Continue

If only...

If only I could touch those around us we love on the temple and fill them with the knowledge that the LORD has given to me over the fifty years I have been trying to stay in "The Way" my Savior would have me to go.

If only by touching them could we impart the truth regarding the horrors of war, hatred and of the indifference many, many seem to have in these days we are in.

If only I could touch them on the temple and let them see just how much the LORD has been at work in… Continue

Tardy YES! Dead NO!

Greetings dear brothers and sisters,

May Jesus bless each and every one of you, keeping you always in HIS hands... Sheltering you from the fiery darts of the enemy.

When the enemy strikes, he always seem to strike closest to home. Deb and I and William are steadfastly keeping our faces towards Christ. Yep I look like a statue, just steadfast with tears streaming down a gray stubbled face. The enemy is his most deadly when he comes at us with a Bible in his hands in the… Continue
