Requirements of the New Covenant, the teachings of the W.B.C, and more.

Romans 11:32 - "For Elohim has shut up all in disobedience so that He may show mercy to all."

This is just a short piece on the New Covenant established by Yah. Collecting and organizing some scripture in an attempt to outline what is expected from the Congregation of YHWH.

Matthew 26:28 -  "for this is My blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for forgiveness of sins."

Luke 22:20 - "And in the same way He took the cup after they had eaten, saying, "This cup which is poured out for you is the new covenant in My blood."

According to Matthew and Luke the Covenant is both new, and for many, and involves the forgiveness of sins. Recent Westboro Baptist Church articles I have read have really prompted me to investigate the scripture more. Part of me is looking for something contained in the scripture that would help me understand their philosophies, and why their denomination believes what they believe. The other part of me wants to find scripture that contradicts their teachings. Here are some verses I feel are good representatives of the New Covenant and what is expected of the people who have YHWH as their Elohim in 2013 A.D. Coincidentally they also contradict the teachings of the W.B.C. Here are some of the verses. I highly suggest the reader reviews them: Matthew 5:43-48, Matthew 6:12-15, Matthew 7:1-2, Matthew 9:9-13, Matthew 18:21-35, Matthew 19:16-22, Matthew 22:34-40, Mark 11:25-26, Mark 12:33, Luke 6:37-49, Luke 10:25-37, Luke 15:11-32, Luke 17:3-4, Luke 23:32-43, John 12:47-48, John 13:34-35, John 14:15, Romans 5:6-21, Romans 8:35-39, Romans 13:8-10, 1 Corinthians 13:1-3, 1 Corinthians 13:13, 2 Corinthians 2:5-11, 1 John 1:8-10, and James 5:11. There are more, but perhaps that was enough to get my point accross.

Paul have interesting words about the previous covenant in 2 Corinthians 3:12-18.
Consider Hebrews 7:11-28. Are there two priesthood's that were commissioned to serve, and minister before Yah? One according to Aaron, and the other to Melchizedek (Hebrews 7:11)? Is it safe to say that scripture supports the teaching that the line of Aaron priesthood has been voided? Wouldn't there be problems with that stance according to Exodus 29:9? I am aware of One Priest of the order of Melchizedek, that being Yahushua, can there be, or are there more? Is there a different line of priests for different covenants that are in effect? These are questions I am not sure I have the answers to.

Hebrews 8:6-13 is very interesting, suggesting that Yahushua is the mediator for a new and better covenant. It would seem that in this covenant the majority of the "rules" of old have been abolished. What I gather is that the ten commandments remain (because to break one would either go against love of Elohim, or love of neighbor), dietary laws contained in Acts 15:20, and perhaps certain restraints of sexual conduct a' la  1 Corinthians 6:9. There are also the harmful practices of sorcery, witchcraft, soothsaying, and other demonic intervention that has always been forbidden by Yah. But just to prove it's not just a pre-Messiah, Old Testament restriction check out Galatians 5:20.

What is a sin, and who is sinning? Sometimes these seemingly simple questions are actually not that simple to many people who claim the title Christian. I have seen people condemned by Christians for actions that were not sinful. I have seen people clearly contradicting the scripture be patted on the back, and given a righteous man's approval by "Christians". Is there room for judgement, ridicule, and cold heartedness in the faith? Or, does the bible as a whole teach that we all sin, and we shouldn't judge one another, to love and pray for everyone, and above all love, honor, respect, and praise the Mighty One of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob?

"God laughs when fags die" - The Westboro Baptist Church

"Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, each according to his conduct,"
declares YHWH Elohim. "Repent and turn away from all your transgressions, so
that iniquity may not become a stumbling block to you. "Cast away
from you all your transgressions which you have committed and make yourselves a
new heart and a new spirit! For why will you die, O house of Israel? "For I have no pleasure in the death of anyone who dies," declares the YHWH Elohim. "Therefore, repent and live." - Ezekiel 18:30-32
