The 10 commandments contained in post-Messianic, post resurrection New Testament teachings that apply to the new law which was established with the new covenant and priesthood.....Yahushua our Eternal High Priest. A Priesthood according to the order of Melchizedek, and not Aaron (Hebrews 5:10).

Hebrews 7:12 - "For when the priesthood is changed, of necessity there takes place a change of law also."

How can sin exist if the law is void. If there isn't a law, how can one break it? Perhaps the law of Moses was nailed to the cross, yet it is still possible to transgress. Scripture suggests the Shabbat is eternal. The New Testament warns about the same core laws of the Old testament namely the ten commandments. It is reasonable to conclude that since these laws appear in both Old and New Testaments they still apply. Who can say not observing even one of these commandments is unbiblical?

I am YHWH your Elohim, who brought you up out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery; Do not have any other gods before me.(1) Acts 24:14 -"But this I admit to you, that according to the Way which they call a sect I do serve the Elohim of our fathers, believing everything that is in accordance with the Law and that is written in the Prophets"...and.... Romans 16:27 - "to the only wise Elohim, through Yahushua Messiah, be the glory forever. Amen....and...1 Timothy 1:17 - Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only Elohim, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen."....and....  Colossians 2:18 - "Let no one keep defrauding you of your prize by delighting in self-abasement and the worship of the angels, taking his stand on visions he has seen, inflated without cause by his fleshly mind"....Revelations has multiple verses that exhibit the horrors of idol worship.

You shall not make for yourself an idol, whether in the form of anything that is in heaven above, or that is on the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I YHWH your Elohim am a jealous Elohim, punishing children for the iniquity of parents, to the third and the fourth generation of those who reject me,but showing steadfast love to the thousandth generation of those who love me and keep my commandments.(2) 1 Corinthians 12:2 - "You know that when you were pagans, you were led astray to the mute idols, however you were led".....and... 1 Thessalonians 1:9 - "For they themselves report about us what kind of a reception we had with you, and how you turned to Elohim from idols to serve a living and true Elohim"....and....Revelations 9:20-21 - "The rest of mankind, who were not killed by these plagues, did not repent of the works of their hands, so as not to worship demons, and the idols of gold and of silver and of brass and of stone and of wood, which can neither see nor hear nor walk; and they did not repent of their murders nor of their sorceries nor of their immorality nor of their thefts." ...and... 1 Corinthians 5:11 - "But actually, I wrote to you not to associate with any so-called brother if he is an immoral person, or covetous, or an idolater, or a reviler, or a drunkard, or a swindler--not even to eat with such a one."

(Paul is clearly suggesting here that anyone who practices idol worship and what is involved with it is considered someone who has been led astray.)
You shall not make wrongful use of the name of YHWH your Elohim, for YHWH will not acquit anyone who misuses his Name.(3) R evelation 15:4 - "Who will not fear, O YHWH, and glorify Your Name? For You alone are holy; For ALL THE NATIONS WILL COME AND WORSHIP BEFORE YOU, FOR YOUR RIGHTEOUS ACTS HAVE BEEN REVEALED."

Remember the Sabbath day and keep it holy. For six days you shall labor and do all your work. But the seventh day is a Sabbath to YHWH your Elohim; you shall not do any work—you, your son or your daughter, your male or female slave, your livestock, or the alien resident in your towns. For in six days YHWH made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them, but rested the seventh day; therefore YHWH blessed the Sabbath day and consecrated it.(4) Hebrews 4:9 - 10 - "So there remains a Sabbath rest for the people of Elohim. For the one who has entered His rest has himself also rested from his works, as Elohim did from His."

Honor your father and your mother, so that your days may be long in the land that YHWH your Elohim is giving you.(5)
Romans 1:30 - "slanderers, haters of Elohim, insolent, arrogant, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to parents"...and... Ephesians 6:1 - 2 - "Children, obey your parents in the Master, for this is right. HONOR YOUR FATHER AND MOTHER (which is the first commandment with a promise),"

You shall not murder.(6)
Romans 1:28 - 29 - "And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge Elohim any longer, Elohim gave them over to a depraved mind, to do those things which are not proper, being filled with all unrighteousness, wickedness, greed, evil; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, malice; they are gossips,"
You shall not commit adultery.(7) 1 Thessalonians 4:3 - "For this is the will of Elohim, your sanctification; that is, that you abstain from sexual immorality;"

You shall not steal.(8) 1 Corinthians 6:10 - nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of Elohim.

You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.(9) 1 Timothy 1:10 - "and immoral men and homosexuals and kidnappers and liars and perjurers, and whatever else is contrary to sound teaching,"

You shall not covet your neighbor’s house; you shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, or male or female slave, or ox, or donkey, or anything that belongs to your neighbor.(10) Acts 2:45 - "and they began selling their property and possessions and were sharing them with all, as anyone might have need"....and...Colossians 3:5 - "Therefore consider the members of your earthly body as dead to immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire, and greed, which amounts to idolatry."  1 Corinthians 6:10
