Keep your Pearls in your Pocket.

Matthew 7:6 Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.

For a long time, I never quite understood what was meant in this verse. Pearls? What are they? Why would they be anywhere near Swine? It wasn't until fairly recently that I grasped what was meant here.

Pearls are those bits of information and Truths you find when seeking. What lies behind the door once you knock. I have learned through experience, sometimes its not in best interests to share with some. It can be hard to keep it to yourself at times though.

Those pearls can truly be trampled with the swine. My new understanding is, Swine, are the folks that are not ready to hear or accept Truths. Those people can make you feel horrible turning against you. There are times, when you know you are speaking, but only to deaf ears or glazed over eyes. When the Dogs bare their teeth to bite you, Its best to keep those pearls in your pocket. Maybe next time, the Truths you care to share are ready to be heard?

Whether it is Scripture, or Warnings about the Vaccines it can be hurtful to see those Pearls be trampled. To have those you care for, turn against you, can be almost damaging and very frustrating. I feel, at times, there is so much information to be shared. So many eyes to be opened, but only if they are ready.

The seed can only be planted on good ground. He, Our Father, knows when it is ready to be plowed and planted. It may also be a lesson in patience as well. A lesson of how to keep your pearls in your pocket for when the ground is good.

Maybe my next lesson will be how to enact the lesson learned? May it be an easier one to hold on to that some others!

Being repeatedly seen a certain way by those who don't want to hear what you have to say can get discouraging to say the least. There are certainly times which warrant not saying anything at all..or saying very little...not dictated by whether or not it's uncomfortable to speak, but dictated rather by discerning when the ground is to hard and unyielding to receive it.

However, for those times that we do speak and end up being tempted to regret it....always remember:

" Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake. Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in the sky, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you." -Matthew 5:11,12 :)

Nothing hurts quite as badly as the people you live with or care for trying to come between you and what's right. I don't know your relationship to the person you spoke of and that can make a big difference but i do know that even in a situation that feels hopeless...don't give up your faith. YHWH is watching, He does care and your fervent prayer will be effectual.

Perhaps not exactly the same ordeal, but our own household had a big prayer that we waited a long time to see answered. It wasn't a person we needed away from, it was a place. The place was a city filled with all those city things that can start to feel like they are sucking the life out of you. For five years we prayed for a new home and last October we finally received it. Now we live in the peaceful countryside with all the amazing views that YHWH created and there is a lot of peace in knowing that He was never turning a deaf ear to those prayers.

In hard situations with other people there are two things that help to remember... you can not change other people (only Father can do that) but you can deal with yourself. Keep doing the right thing...even the right thing by the people who remain your adversary, and never give up your trust in our Heavenly Father for deliverance from that situation. He's listening.

Peace in Yahushua
