when it rains... it pours...

Hello my brothers and sisters...

It has been raining heavily for 6 hours and we've gotten 9 inches of rain so far. It took me 50 minutes to get the Mrs. to work and an hour for me to get back. There are cars submerged everywhere. We have a two foot deep river running through my back yard, the neighbor behind me has it going under the whole house. Parts of the skirting on some folks places are ripping away already.

Greetings my dear brothers and sisters.

Deb and I are hanging in there. Yes times are a bit rough... But... Our Lord and Savior takes very good care of us and our needs.

Deb is currently in the job hunt arena again, but things look very promising for her. I have settled my medical issue and am awaiting the "check" in the mail, lol. Hmmm yep I am still waiting LOL.

"Buzz" Words

Not too awfully long ago it was brought to my attention of how certain words happen to pop up in our vocabulary. A few years ago it was "Global". How everything seemed to be going that way. Global commerce, Global communication, Global warming, etc.... one way or another we starting using that word in our everyday vocabulary. Recently I have noticed the word "Nuclear".
