Its not often our closest star gives us a show like the one they're saying here. I sometimes wonder if that is Really what is happening. If its not cloudy, I'll be watching for it. Supposed to be a nice show of "Northern Lights"

Solar Tsunami to Strike Earth
Published August 03, 2010

NASA's Solar Dynamics Observatory snapped this X-ray photo of the Sun early in the morning of Sunday, August 1st. The dark arc near the top right edge of the image is a filament of plasma blasting off the surface -- part of the coronal mass ejection. The bright region is an unassociated solar flare.
Earth is bracing for a cosmic tsunami Tuesday night as tons of plasma from a massive solar flare head directly toward the planet.
The Sun's surface erupted early Sunday morning, shooting a wall of ionized atoms directly at Earth, scientists say. It is expected to create a geomagnetic storm and a spectacular light show -- and it could pose a threat to satellites in orbit, as well.
"This eruption is directed right at us and is expected to get here early in the day on Aug. 4," said Leon Golub of the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics. "It's the first major Earth-directed eruption in quite some time."
The solar eruption, called a coronal mass ejection, was spotted by NASA's Solar Dynamics Observatory, which captures high-definition views of the sun at a variety of wavelengths. SDO was launched in February and peers deep into the layers of the sun, investigating the mysteries of its inner workings.
"We got a beautiful view of this eruption," Golub said. "And there might be more beautiful views to come if it triggers aurorae."
Views of aurorae are usually associated with Canada and Alaska, but even skywatchers in the northern U.S. mainland are being told they can look toward the north Tuesday and Wednesday evenings for rippling "curtains" of green and red light.
When a coronal mass ejection reaches Earth, solar particles stream down our planet's magnetic field lines toward the poles. In the process, the particles collide with atoms of nitrogen and oxygen in the Earth's atmosphere, which then glow, creating an effect similar to miniature neon signs.
The interaction of the solar particles with our planet's magnetic field has the potential to create geomagnetic storms, or disturbances, in Earth's magnetosphere. And while aurorae are normally visible only at high latitudes, they can light up the sky even at lower latitudes during a geomagnetic storm.
Fortunately for Earth-bound observers, the atmosphere filters out nearly all of the radiation from the solar blast, so the flare shouldn't pose a health hazard, experts say. Pilots and passengers in airplanes may experience increased radiation levels akin to getting an X-ray.
The solar particles also could affect satellites, though scientists think that possibility is remote. Orbital Sciences Corp. believe a similar blast may have knocked its Galaxy 15 satellite permanently out of action this year.
This type of solar event has both government officials and satellite manufacturers worrying.
NASA scientists warned recently that high-energy electric pulses from the sun could cripple our electrical grid for years, causing billions in damages. In fact, the House is so concerned that the Energy and Commerce committee voted unanimously to approve a bill allocating $100 million to protect the energy grid from this rare but potentially devastating occurrence.
The sun's activity usually ebbs and flows on a fairly predictable cycle. Typically, a cycle lasts about 11 years, taking roughly 5.5 years to move from a solar minimum, a period of time when there are few sunspots, to peak at the solar maximum, during which sunspot activity is amplified.
The last solar maximum occurred in 2001. The latest minimum was particularly weak and long- lasting.
The most recent solar eruption is one of the first signs that the sun is waking up -- and heading toward another maximum.

The world can be seen to be changing very rapidly, depending on the perspective you view it from. In nations where there is still a semblance of stability like Western European nations and the U.S., the chaos that has begun to shake the world has not yet been felt to a great extent. We might, perhaps, even wonder why. Where there is the greatest wealth, we see no life changing destruction. As a result, the comfort in these places only cements the perception that everything continues as it always has.

I don't think anything happens without reason, whether in cause or effect. We know that the powers that believe they have control in this world work with incredibly advanced technology, we know too that the populace where their influence is strongest are the wealthiest nations in the world. Has any favor actually been done to these nations to be spared for a time though? How much worse is it for the country who does not expect the calamity, who says " i am not a widow and i'll see no sorrow" and then in one moment disaster comes?

Even to the very end, i suspect many will continue in the delusion that someone is prepared to return their world to the complacent and vain place it was before any of it struck. They will, in their delusion, never let go of a fool's hope that the false messiah will give them until the true Messiah appears and puts that delusion to rest forever.

"For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark,
and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.
Then two will be in the field, one will be taken and the other left.
Two grinding at the mill, one will be taken and the other left.
Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Master is coming.
But know this, that if the master of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched and not allowed his house to be broken into.
Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.
Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his master made ruler over his household, to give them food in due season?
Blessed is that servant whom his master, when he comes, will find so doing." - Matthew 24:38-46

Nibiru, or Hibiru have a root word in common with the "Hebrew"...that is "Eber". What the word means is a transition or a crossing over. The fact that this heavenly body appears in Sumerian legends has a way of putting off some Christians out there. Pagan records, though, should be dealt with just like the evening news i think....you know it's probably been spun, you know it's not telling you the Whole story..but at the same time, there is a story there to be uncovered and a grain of truth to be understood.

What can be gleaned from the scripture about this "planet" is that it's not just a planet...nor a random universal object that happens to be caught up in a chance elliptical orbit with this solar system. This is a weapon of wrath. If one considers the way the pre-flood world lost it's thicker and more protective atmosphere and water was drawn up from deep below the Earth's surface..it's not difficult to understand how this object would be able to facilitate that occurring.

I don't believe i know a date when we might see some Undeniable effects of the proximity of this object, nor do i believe Dec. 2012 is "the end"...but there have been Measurable effects. One of which is the instability of Earth's polarity. Though polarity shift is a "normal" occurrence..in that it has been going on for a long time, we don't normally note it...there has been, however, in the space of a few years, an obvious movement of magnetic north.

Thanks Barry for all that information.  No it wasn't the shadow that had me interested.  It was the bright light.  I will state again, I cannot agree with what the man was saying. One of the questions I have about the vid is wouldn't a planet or star or whatever "nibiru" is appear  daily, not just once?  Like I said I have been looking at this site for a couple of weeks, this is the first time this bright thing appears.  The blue looking "planet" could be the moon, it would have been full during the time of the vid..  I know that the Sumerians, Sitchin and the new agers have all taught about this planet.  I have read some of the texts, but I also know what wicked means.   That is the adversaries Modus Operandi: to twist.  The adversary takes the truth and twists it.  Barry I also do not think that nibiru is bringing Messiah, but it could be bringing the very one you say must come first, and I agree, he must.  I am looking forward to his coming too, cause I know the quicker that happens, the quicker our Savior will return.  The destruction this could hold for the earth could match what Yahushau said when he said that the tribulation would be the worst the world has ever known.

Cyprium thank you for the Hebrew , interestingly I was reminded about Peleg last night as I read Barry's reply and looked up him in the Word.  He was the son of Eber, and his name means earthquake.

Gen 10:25  And unto Eber were born two sons: the name of one was Peleg; for in his days was the earth divided; and his brother's name was Joktan.
Gen 10:26  And Joktan begat Almodad, and Sheleph, and Hazarmaveth, and Jerah,

H6389
פּלג
peleg
peh'-leg
The same as H6388; earthquake; Peleg, a son of Shem: - Peleg.

2012 would probably be an easy time to fake Messiah's return.. it's one of those things that people nowadays just know about.. they don't know much about it - but they've 'heard things' from others and 'seen things' on TV about it..

i couldn't say we are for sure not in the tribulation now.. i would be more surprised if we weren't in it right now.. regardless, no one is promised tomorrow, and we have to keep living each day like it's our last, without living like there's no tomorrow, because it may just come.

thanks for the info on Nibiru, Cyprium.. i think that might be where the sci-fi 'deathstar' ship names came from.

Yes, even when there is no hope but repentance and turning to Him left for some people, they will still resist Him. It is hard to imagine how so much prophecy could be completely ignored by those who will choose this path.

I have watched for these past few years as fruit trees seem to succumb to something that looks just like a scorching. They are not struck with any notable disease, yet the leaves become much like what leaves would look like if they were turned to ash suddenly in a fire but retained their shape.

Prodigal Son, you said... "How much worse is it for the country who does not expect the calamity, who says " i am not a widow and i'll see no sorrow" and then in one moment disaster comes?"

Revelation 16:9 says of the end-times:  And men were scorched with great heat, and they blasphemed the name of God who has power over these plagues; and they did not repent and give Him glory.

Whether you identify them as spiritual energies or electromagnetic energies, the forces which construct the ley grid in a planet form a crystalline structure. Viewing it hyper-dimensionally, one would see a multi-faceted prismatic construction. These forces manifest through the physical world, creating the patterns which govern many natural things like honeycombs, weather patterns, and nautilus shells. It is one of the obvious proofs that creation was ordered by an Intelligent Designer.

Power cuts threat as sun storm hits earth
A huge mass of electrically-charged particles thrown out by a gigantic eruption on the Sun is due to strike the Earth tonight.

Scientists expect it to trigger one of the most violent geomagnetic storms ever recorded.

The result could be widespread power surges and even blackouts, disrupted TV and mobile phone signals, and broken down communication satellites.

At the same time the Northern Lights, normally confined to polar latitudes, may produce dazzling displays in the skies above southern Britain.

At least one satellite has already been knocked out of action by the storm. Japan's space agency said its Kodama communications satellite had been temporarily shut down after malfunctioning.

The solar flare that caused the eruption burst out of a sunspot at 10.54am yesterday.

Experts said it was the strongest flare seen in the past 30 years. The explosion caused a coronal mass ejection (CME) which is now speeding towards Earth.

Disruption

Last week another CME only hit the Earth a glancing blow, yet was able to disrupt airline communications.

The solar flare was classified as an X18-category explosion, meaning it can trigger planet-wide radio blackouts and long-lasting radiation storms.

Although the charged particles present no direct danger to people on the ground, they could have a devastating effect on electrical equipment.

Geomagnetic storms are classified on a scale of one to five. Initial indications are that the looming storm could reach the highest G5 level and last for 24 hours.

Northern Lights

The most obvious manifestation of the storm is likely to be glorious auroras lighting up the night sky.

Usually the Northern Lights, or aurora borealis, is only visible in Britain from northern Scotland. The Earth's magnetic field channels the solar particles that cause auroras towards the poles.

But experts say that over the next two days the Northern Lights may be seen at latitudes as low as Florida and Texas - and even south enough to cover the whole of Europe.

'all matter is energy condensed to a slow vibration'.. these types of storms, especially one the size of what tonight's is supposed be, do pose a direct, i wouldn't say 'danger', but 'concern' for "people on the ground" (and people in airplanes, helicopters and hot air balloons haha) in terms of how we individually 'feel' and our choices on these types of nights.. heightened sensitivity is something we should all probably consider when making our daily choices, great and small.

northern lights in Florida.. wonder how far this trend will go.. will we soon see commercials advertising for vacation spots with phrases like 'come to Hawaii and watch the Northern Lights?'.. will the lights be labeled 'southern' once a certain frequency of occurrence has been reached?.. kidding yes but in seriousness.. it reminds me of the way chemtrails have been called a 'new cloud variety'..

northern lights in Texas should have people concerned and asking questions about how and why something like this would happen.. maybe it will.. maybe people in the south of Britain and the south of the US will see them and pause and question and hopefully be led to the answer that the time is probably real short right now and we all need to be about our Savior's business.

Nice fractals, Barry =)

NASA launches twin satellites to study insides of moon

"A pair of spacecraft rocketed toward the moon Saturday on the first mission dedicated to measuring lunar gravity and determining what’s inside Earth’s orbiting companion – all the way down to the core.

“I could hardly be happier,” said the lead scientist, Maria Zuber. After two days of delays and almost another, “I was trying to be as calm as I could be.”

NASA launched the near identical probes – named Grail-A and Grail-B – aboard a relatively small Delta II rocket to save money. It will take close to four months for the spacecraft to reach the moon, a long, roundabout journey compared with the zippy three-day trip of the Apollo astronauts four decades ago.

Grail-A popped off the upper stage of the rocket exactly as planned 1 1 / 2 hours after liftoff, followed eight minutes later by Grail-B. Both releases were seen live on NASA TV thanks to an on-board rocket camera, and generated loud applause in Launch Control.

The spacecraft are travelling independently to the moon, with A arriving on New Year’s Eve and B on New Year’s Day.

Once they were safely on their way, Ms. Zuber announced a contest for schoolchildren to replace the “working-class names” of Grail-A and Grail-B.

“Grail, simply put, is a journey to the centre of the moon,” said Ed Weiler, head of NASA’s science mission directorate, borrowing from the title of the Jules Verne science fiction classic, “Journey to the Centre of the Earth.”

The world has launched more than 100 missions to the moon since the Soviet Union’s Luna probes in 1959. That includes NASA’s six Apollo moon landings that put 12 men on the lunar surface.

NASA’s Grail twins – each the size of a washing machine – won’t land on the moon but will conduct their science survey from a polar lunar orbit. "

Very interesting names... "Grail" A and B. If any are familiar with the controller's obsession with the grail mythos and how it's connected to a so-called "sacred feminine" it becomes not so surprising that these two rockets which are destined for the "womb" of the feminine satellite to Earth are named Grail. Its of further interest that they are referred to as "twins"....(back to Ishtar and her twin boys).

Six coronal mass ejections in 24 hours

The sun let loose with at least six coronal mass ejections (CMEs) -- solar phenomena that can send solar particles into space and affect electronic systems in satellites -- from 7 PM ET on September 18, 2011 until 1 PM on September 19.

Some interesting Celestial Events in the next few weeks

October 16 - Comet Elinin. Newly discovered comet Elinin will make its closest approach to the Earth on October 16. The comet was discovered on December 10, 2010 by Russian amateur astronomer Leonid Elenin. It is estimated that the comet will reach 6th magnitude as it makes its closest approach. This will make it just barely visible to the naked eye. With a good pair of binoculars and a little determination, you may be able to get a good look at this new comet during mid October.

November 8 - Asteroid 2005 YU55 Flyby. An asteroid known as 2005 YU55 will make a close approach to the Earth. The large space rock, about 1,300 feet in diameter will pass closer than the Moon at 0.85 lunar distances. While it is not expected to pose a threat to the Earth, this extremely rare event presents a unique opportunity for amateur astronomers to observe the asteroid as it makes it closest approach to our planet. Many astronomy groups are planning to observe the event. Asteroids this large only pass close to the Earth about every 30 years.
