What Was Man Taught, and By Who?

One big problem many people have when considering human history is the wide gap between the secular idea of when modern man arose (something like 200,000 years ago) and the dawn of civilization (something like 6,000). There are tons of theories out there, and a popular one now is the ancient alien one. Many people believe man was genetically modified, and then given knowledge from space aliens. The Sumerians believed that their "gods" from a distant star came to earth, and created humans to work for them. The ancient alien theorists claim these, and other similar stories found around the world are evidence that these "gods" were actually space aliens. What is strange about these other worldly visitors are their requests. They offer knowledge, but then demand strange things in return. things like human sacrifice, ritual orgies, and absurd devotion to carved images of them. Do these sound like the needs and wants of space explorers? It seems to me these are the types of things demons would want of humans. Knowledge that was given by these entities had a price. This article takes a look at some of the stuff man was taught, either by Yah or discovered on his own, and what was taught to man by demons.

Genesis 2:25. There was a time when man walked the earth naked, and thought nothing of it. In Genesis 3:7 man acquires some knowledge as a result of Eve being heavily persuaded by the devil. The knowledge given to them after " the eyes of both of them were opened" we know for sure was knowledge of their nakedness, and the knowledge of "good and evil" (Genesis 3:22). I believe this is the conscience. Guilt couldn't have existed before the events of Genesis 3:7 among humans. In Genesis 3:10 Adam even hides himself from Yah emphasizing the idea that Adam has changed with knowledge, and sees the universe in a different light. Sin entered the world through disobedience, and right after sin guilt followed. Perhaps being the firstborn negative emotion from sin.

I want to take a look at what we know for sure man was taught, and knew before the events in Genesis 6:1-4, and Enoch 6:1-8. This information is the knowledge man had before being taught by fallen angels.

Genesis 3:23 says "man was sent out to cultivate the land".

Genesis 4:4 says "Abel, on his part also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of their fat portions. And YHWH had regard for Abel and for his offering".

Genesis 4:21 speaks of Jabal's brother Jubal. Genesis 4:21 "His brother's name was Jubal; he was the father of all those who play the lyre and pipe."

Genesis 4:22 says "As for Zillah, she also gave birth to Tubal-cain, the forger of all implements of bronze and iron; and the sister of Tubal-cain was Naamah."

Genesis 4:26 says "To Seth, to him also a son was born; and he called his name Enosh. Then men began to call upon the name of YHWH.

So from what I can gather, the information for sure that man had before he was taught by fallen angels is: he knew how to farm (Genesis 3:32), he knew how to tend to livestock (Genesis 4:4), he knew how to play musical instruments (Genesis 4:21), he knew how to work metals, and forge (Genesis 4:22), and he knew the Name of YHWH, and knew to call upon His Name. Now lets take a look at the information that was given to man by fallen angels as told in Enoch 8:1.

"And Azâzêl taught men to make swords, and knives, and shields, and breastplates, and made known to them the metals of the earth and the art of working them, and bracelets, and ornaments, and the use of antimony, and the beautifying of the eyelids, and all kinds of costly stones, and all coloring tinctures. And there arose much godlessness, and they committed fornication, and they were led astray, and became corrupt in all their ways. Semjâzâ taught enchantments, and root-cuttings, Armârôs the resolving of enchantments, Barâqîjâl, taught astrology, Kôkabêl the constellations, Ezêqêêl the knowledge of the clouds, Araqiêl the signs of the earth, Shamsiêl the signs of the sun, and Sariêl the course of the moon."

These angels described here taught to the human race how to: make the instruments of war, other metals of the earth, cosmetics, enchantments, astrology, constellations, and other knowledge of the universe.

All of this information leads to ruin if not closely watched. Whether it invokes vanity from cosmetics, murder with the sword, or occult practice through astrology. Perhaps man would eventually got all this information when the time was right (Matthew 10:26) but it seems man was to immature at the time to use that information responsibly. Maybe we still are.

I have heard before that the pre-flood earth did not have bodies of water like the earth today. Perhaps there was never a need for boats in the pre-flood world because of this. It can be argued that Yah taught Noah how to make the first boat in Genesis 6:14-15. In Genesis 7:21 it says that all flesh that moves on the earth perished. In Genesis 7:22 it says again all on the dry land died. If other people had boats, wouldn't they have survived if they happened to be in them when the flood came? But all that was on dry land perished. Only fish, whales, dolphins, aquatic nephilim, and other sea creatures could have survived. I am not saying I know for sure Noah's ark is the first boat, but an argument could be made for it.

There must have been a lot of other information that man had gathered from the time he left Eden, to the time the flood came. But after the flood destroyed everything it would seem Noah, and his family had to start over technology wise. The "religion" Noah practiced taught him the practice of making alters to Yah, and sacrificing on them (Genesis 8:20). For the second time the command to be fruitful, and multiply is made in Genesis 9:1, the first being Genesis 1:28.

It seems Noah knew the basics of farming, and could make wine (Genesis 9:20-21). Verse 21 speaks of Noah living in a tent. The information given in the scripture paints a picture of Noah "a righteous man", and his family living the life as farmers who dwelled in tents. After Noah Genesis 10 gives us a genealogy, so time passes and we come to Genesis 11:3. In 11:3 the we see that people now have the knowledge to make bricks, and use tar for mortar for building. And they planned to not only build a building, but a tower, that went up to heaven. So that suggests the knowledge of building by then was fairly advanced. A step above from Noah's tent.  Then there is another genealogy in chapter 11, time passes, and we reach Abraham.

Abraham (1812 BC to 1637 BC?) lived in a time where many famous empires, and technologies existed. By his time most of the generic ancient technology we come to think about, when we think of the knowledge of the ancients existed. With so many pagan religion's deities giving out information in return for human sacrifice, and devotion I have to stop here. I am not saying all progress is the result of demons, but I am saying they jump started technology. That's why "one day man was naked beating a stick against a rock, and the next day he was building pyramids". When anyone who is immature is given knowledge that is powerful bad things happen. Maybe living in a tent, farming the land, playing music, using certain metals for tools, and the other things revealed to man before Genesis 6 is the way to go, the only save way. It would be interesting to see though how man would have progressed, and where we would be now if our knowledge wasn't so rapidly advanced so quickly. What if we advanced at our own pace without intervention?

I would say, absolutely, mankind is still too immature for this knowledge..but it's more than that of course...man is too sin natured for it as well. The state of the world becomes more "advanced" and sin increases...that has been the rule. I think it might be safe to say that man with a sin nature could never responsibly use this knowledge and YHWH knew that.

I think that with natural progression, there is a fair liklihood that many of the very advances applications of sciences would never have been learned in the relatively short span of time that was to be human history in the sin age.

"I would use it responsibly as a way to make work easier. Many others though, would use it to harm people because they would go mad with power."

But what human being has ever used power responsibly?
