At Judiciary Square in Washington Dc, you will find the statue of an unlikely man to be honored in such a way from a mainstream point of view.
This statue is of a man named Albert Pike, born in 1809 and having died in 1891. Pike served as a Confederate military officer in the Civil war of dubious competence. He was not strictly for the emancipation of the South from the Union at all, but rather only fighting on the side of the South in the interest of maintaining the economic advantage of slavery. Outside of this questionable distinction, all that could be called notable of him in an accepted historical sense is that he was a writer and a lawyer. This hardly would seem like a resume that would result in a memorial for all generations in the nation's capital.
Albert Pike has a much more noteworthy record in the shadowy world of occult-directed supranational powers. A record which would certainly put him in the top bracket of esteemed figures of history from the perspective of like-minded proponents of a "New World Order".

Olympus Has Fallen is about Banning (Gerard Butler), who single-handedly saves the white house from rogue North Koreans.
White House Down is about a Capitol policeman (Channing Tatum) who springs into action to save his child and protect the president (Jamie Foxx) from a heavily armed group of paramilitary invaders.
Now I'm not saying there is a conspiracy. However, movie studios play on trends and get inspired by the media.
