If only...

If only I could touch those around us we love on the temple and fill them with the knowledge that the LORD has given to me over the fifty years I have been trying to stay in "The Way" my Savior would have me to go.

If only by touching them could we impart the truth regarding the horrors of war, hatred and of the indifference many, many seem to have in these days we are in.

If only I could touch them on the temple and let them see just how much the LORD has been at work in their lives though they see it not.

If only we could bring the truth of CHRIST to them, with just a touch to the temple.

If only those we love would hear us... Instead of looking at us as if we had lost our senile minds.

If only... If only... Sadly we have no if's... We have the ONLY, the ONE and ONLY, LIVING GOD... Through and by His SON, our SAVIOR, JESUS will we ever see all of our IF'S come to be reality The fact that many, including those we love the most seem to fail to grasp the simplicity of belief in CHRIST. That is the problem saving one's soul is too easy, so easy in fact, many fail to open their eyes to the simple truth regarding my LORD and SAVIOR and what HE tells us...

If only they'd just believe... Just believe and trust in He who died for us, though we deserved it not. He, who through HIS resurrection from the dead assures each of us that trust and BELIEVE in HIM, that we shall spend eternity by HIS side. Oh what joy we shall have when that day comes to pass and our LORD brings us all home, to the homes HE has prepared for those who trust in HIM... What a joyous, joyous day that will be...

My ticket is secure, I need no baggage, nor funds. I stand at the bus stop waiting patiently for the express bus to HIS side to get to my stop...

If only everyone had their bus pass ready in hand and heart...

If only no one missed the bus...

To you my brothers and sisters... May each of you be blessed, as HE has Blessed Deb and I with your friendships and love through Christ Jesus. Deb and I have been through a difficult time with those we thought loved us. Sadly as is the case so, so many times this turned out to be an illusion. All Deb and I can say is... Well we'll probably do it all over again, take from us what you will... But know this my LORD and SAVIOR loves us with a JEALOUS love that no one nor anything can surpass, He it is who shall fight for us... Deb and I shall continue this journey with our faces set like stone upon the LORD...

I know most of us have probably had many moments when we just really Wished we could make others understand. If we could all do that, we'd leave no one "untouched" would we....?

 

We can sow the seeds....but the increase will always be Him...we'll never have the power the Holy Spirit does to change hearts and minds. Hard as it can seem...we can really trust Him to hear our prayers and intervene in others' lives though.

 

Loving others in the way He would have us do often means not receiving the same care in return...risking that repeatedly...disappointment in those you spent time and labor on to benefit them. Though that can get discouraging i think it helps to remember how patient He's been in His love towards us and that what we do to others...we do to Him. That reward is never lost.

You have our prayers Bob, and it is my hope He will send you encouragement while you go through this hard time. It is good we can be assured we have a Friend in our Savior and He will never leave or forsake us.

Bob.. down south we call people like you and Deb 'The Salt of the Earth'.. and you are.. you both came here boldly speaking peace and love in Yahushua and have consistently been a blessing to us here and who knows how many others and we love you both.

 

my sister's not saved and there have been so many times i've wished i could just instantly convey the truth to her the way His Holy Spirit instantly conveys truth to us.. oh if only a Vulcan Mind-meld would do it lol.. thankfully He does the work we cannot and makes possible all those amazing things that are impossible for us to do.

 

i know y'all know you're not working the field in vain and that on that Good Day you'll both see the fruits of your labors done through our loving Master's labors in you and it'll be good.
