State of Emergency: EMERGENCY SITUATION BREAKING IN WEST VIRGINIA

Update: Over 300,000 are affected in a 9 county area.

 

Many Reports are coming in to Sentinel Command of massive fighting breaking loose in West Virginia over Bottled water as the Chemical Spill Situation continues.

As predicted, Fema Region 3 has now been activated, National Guard has also been been called out as this area in West Virginia has been declared a state of emergency. This chemical spill is now affecting 9 counties and over 100,000 residents are directly affected.

All water in the area has been contaminated with the chemical (4-Methylcyclohexane Methanol), a chemical used in the coal industry. This chemical will make a person sick but it is not deadly unless ingested in huge quantity.

 

The incident occurred Thursday on the Elk River in Charleston, West Virginia’s capital and largest city, upriver from the eastern U.S. state’s largest water treatment plant.

 

There have been several reports that indicate despite the intervention of State officials; FEMA; the National Guard and local law enforcement, slow distribution of water may be causing tension among the concerned populous. (See FEMA press release)

All stores have been depleted of bottled water, situation has become desperate as citizens are now fighting over resources.

CDC issued the state of emergency, Schools, restaurants and businesses have been shut down.

The company responsible for the spill is called...Freedom Industries.

I don't know about you...but this looks like a test run to me. I pray those people don't decide they need the government's help more than YHWH's....the stuff hitting the fan is coming to a town near you soon enough.

"Company files for bankruptcy after W.Va. spill

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) - The company blamed for a chemical spill that left 300,000 West Virginians without safe drinking water filed for bankruptcy Friday, temporarily shielding them from dozens of lawsuits, most by businesses that were forced to shut down for days.

Freedom Industries Inc. also used its bankruptcy papers as a forum to speculate on how the spill might have happened.

The company filed a Chapter 11 petition with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in the Southern District of West Virginia, eight days after the spill began.

Company president Gary Southern signed the paperwork, which lists both the company's assets and liabilities as being between $1 million and $10 million. It says the company has at least 200 creditors and owes its top 20 creditors $3.66 million.

The bankruptcy proceedings temporarily halt the lawsuits against Freedom Industries, said Charleston attorney Anthony Majestro, who is representing several small businesses that sued the company. Majestro said his clients are weighing an option to petition the court to proceed in hopes of collecting on Freedom's insurance policy. It depends on the company's level of coverage, Majestro said..."

"...According to bankruptcy documents, Freedom Industries is wholly owned by Chemstream Holdings, Inc., a company located at the Pennsylvania headquarters of Rosebud Mining Company.

In the documents, the company also gives a possible explanation for what caused the spill: Freedom Industries says a water line burst during last week's frigid temperatures, the ground beneath a storage tank froze, and some kind of object punctured a hole in its side, causing it to leak..."
