In psychology, frustration is a common emotional response to opposition. Related to anger and disappointment, it arises from the perceived resistance to the fulfillment of individual will. The greater the obstruction, and the greater the will, the more the frustration is likely to be.

I have become quite frustrated to the Ignorance around.…

What does That mean?

Recently, a phrase has been sticking out to me. "The benefits out weight the risks." What does that mean? When you think about that, when benefits have risks, are they truly benefits? Those benefits would need to be obese. The most recent article I encountered, was "Genetically Modified Food: 'The Controversy Is Really Curious To Scientists' " In one point of this video, it mentions genetically modifying has been going on for centuries. It has been, since the days of Noah. "From making…

What is patience?

As I thought about that word this evening. I tried to come up with a definition. I decided to look the word up in a dictionary, thinking that would give me the answer I was looking for. This is what Webster's defines patience as :

Definition of PATIENCE

1 : the capacity, habit, or fact of being patient(see 1…

A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance

Today, I would have been married to my husband for 16 years. Over three years ago, he was killed in a motorcycle accident. The past few anniversaries have been rather rough. Today seemed a little easier. I used the day to reflect on the path my life has taken. It certainly has been an adventure. For those of you that know me, it sure has been a ride. Each obstacle on the journey, YHWH made a way to continue. I should have been killed after a beating in 2001, yet here I am…

The New Spin on High Fructose Corn Syrup

While watching the Weather Channel to catch my local forecast for the day. A bright, loud commercial came on. The background, a clean well watered corn field with sunshine and warm comfortable temperatures. A man with a little girl, that was told to be his daughter sitting on his shoulders. As the commercial ran, it was for High Fructose Corn Syrup. It is now to be called Corn Sugar. The commercial had a feel of comforting and trust.

"If high fructose corn syrup is simply sugar made…

This has been, so far, a very chaotic year.

Its not even finished yet.

Earthquakes, volcanoes, on going wars.

There have been many rumors of war from all over this globe.

The flooding and droughts have also been world wide.

Last year, I felt, was a crazy twelve months.

The financial market was haywire, and the "flu pandemic" on everyone's mind.

This year has been more insane than last.

Just this month of September, there have been… Continue

What ever happened?

What ever happened to the time when there was no real worry about poison? The time when what you brought home from the grocery store was fit for consumption. The water you drank, was just that. Water. The time when there were not chemicals or hormones in it. You could eat or drink without concern. The days when you watched the news and it was just that, news. It seems this day, it is all askew. The news is spun with a smidgen of truth and a load of lies. You have to look and read what you are… Continue

Standing for the Sabbath

Exodus 20

20:8 Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.

20:9 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:

20:10 But the seventh day is the Sabbath of YHWH thy Elohim: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:

20:11 For in six days YHWH made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore YHWH blessed the… Continue

"Buzz" Words

Not too awfully long ago it was brought to my attention of how certain words happen to pop up in our vocabulary. A few years ago it was "Global". How everything seemed to be going that way. Global commerce, Global communication, Global warming, etc.... one way or another we starting using that word in our everyday vocabulary. Recently I have noticed the word "Nuclear". It seems to be flowing out of every mainstream media anchors mouth. It has even come out of me, describing my emotion. Once… Continue
