Hi, last night I had tooth pain and I used tea tree oil on some teeth after I cleaned them and they felt pretty much fine then and I went to bed. Right after I woke up my lower left 2nd and 3rd molars hurt still so I put tea tree oil on them. But it didn't really fix it so I didn't eat on them for awhile today. Now they feel normal again and my gums feel normal so maybe it was just from them being cleaned but the top back ones didn't hurt at all and it was just the bottom two this time. I was wondering if anyone thought something might be wrong with them.

hey, just saw this.. not sure what may have gone on there, but tea tree will eliminate any bacteria, help with infections and the like, but only has a mild analgesic effect.. clove oil is a much stronger analgesic and works really well for helping eliminate pain and soreness which are not necessarily caused by infection.
I saw a youtube video where a guy claimed to have killed his root of one of his teeth with clove oil because it was painful or something

I might need to see the video to understand fully what was claimed but clove would not kill the root of a tooth and feeling a great deal of pain in the tooth is a good indicator that the root was alive.
it sounds like the root was suffering tooth decay which caused the pain, and later caused the root to die.. using clove oil is very effective at masking the pain caused by tooth decay because it dramatically calms the nerves in the affected area.. it's good for lots of reasons..
