repentant fallen spirits is one of my favorite subjects because of the unconditional love necessary for it to be, and the amazing testimony it is to His mercy in the salvation for those who are farthest removed from Him.
as repulsive an idea as it may initially sound to most believers, the facts must be dealt with.. and any believer who is unwilling to look objectively at the facts, must admit that he is thus willingly rejecting, not only the truth of scripture, but also denying himself an opportunity to learn more about an aspect of our Creator - and we all know doing that would be no different than saying to Him "I don't love You enough to be willing to find out the truth about You".

perhaps people think that by studying the facts pertaining to the possible redemption of fallen spirits, they will find out something bad.. but does that really make sense? certainly there are hard truths in scripture, but does the objective studying of any of His word ever yield anything bad?

somehow the majority mindset of believers has gone from "salvation for any who are willing to receive Him" to "salvation for any who are loved more by Him".. isn't that what it really boils down to in the end?

we know without doubt that our Creator loves all of His creation without prejudice.. does the idea of Him loving Satan, or any other fallen spirit, equate to Him "approving" of them or their actions somehow?.. one would perhaps think it did, if one judged the matter based solely upon the reaction of most believers to it.

Col 1:20 states that Messiah "having made peace through the blood of His cross, by Him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, whether things in earth, or things in heaven."

for which things 'in heaven' would He be shedding His blood?.. certainly not the holy angels.. they require no reconciliation to Him because they are not separated from Him.. but there is another "heavenly host" that has fallen, and is in fact in need of reconciliation - that host of rebellious angels which we are warned not to worship.

there are a lot of talking points available on this subject, and i hope to see them all discussed here.

sometimes you just gotta ask "where's the love?"
