since Adam, man has been meant to live a life of agriculture. to plant and sow, nurture and reap a harvest is in the core of human instinct to do and doing so is a big part of human fulfillment. growing food for living is not only a matter of survival of days past, when people could not simply go to the grocery store to buy food, it is a matter of survival of this day as well. food does not magically appear on store shelves, someone grows it. unfortunately it is the case that fewer and fewer real farmers grow the food that people eat and more so it has become true that food is grown by giant agricultural factories who are not interested in how the food they produce nourishes the people who buy it, but are interested in making the largest profit possible and being an unbeatable competition for real farmers.

this is not just a problem for farmers, it is a problem for you. it is the small, local farmer who is more likely to care that they are not using pesticides and herbicides and gmo seed which people do not wish to consume and which, if one is forced to eat long enough, will destroy the body.

now it is not enough for some that the giant agricultural factories are suffocating the small, local farms, now they wish to implement laws that will not just make it hard, but make it impossible for small farms to continue to operate and even make it impossible for people to have their own gardens. such an evil combination of legislation has been proposed or accepted recently which hurt all areas of a persons ability to eat clean, healthy food and have access to natural cures. these measures greatly benefit the black hearted greed of such organizations like drug companies and gmo food producers like Monsanto.

the evil, though, is deeper than just their greed. they are aware of what it will mean for people if they are forced on to a diet of processed, genetically manipulated and chemically poisoned foods. they know what it will mean to take away the healing herbs which He created and cause people to run to drugs instead for their remedy. as it is already the case that these things are taking many lives in this nation, it will ensure that nearly everyone will live a shorter and a sicker life. and what else will be lost? the joy of spending a day with the family in the sun, tending the garden, watching the miracle of His increase as He gives it upon their labors. no money can buy blessings like those.

it makes me wonder how much of their plans might be thwarted just by a great mass of repentance by people in this nation. it might be that He has handed over the country to those who would destroy it and its people because it is a society so rotten with sin and in love with sin.

Woe is me, for I am like those who gather summer fruits. Like those who glean vintage grapes. There is no cluster to eat of the first-ripe fruit that my soul desires. The faithful have perished from the earth and no one upright among men. They all lie in wait for blood. Every man hunts his brother with a net that they may successfully do evil with both hands. The prince asks and the judge a reward and the high placed utters his evil desire. So they scheme together. The best of them is like a brier, the most upright a thorn hedge. The day of your watchman and your punishment comes. Now shall be their perplexity. - Micah 7:1-4

"S 510, the Food Safety Modernization Act of 2010, may be the most dangerous bill in the history of the US. It is to our food what the bailout was to our economy, only we can live without money.

1. It puts all US food and all US farms under Homeland Security and the Department of Defense, in the event of contamination or an ill-defined emergency

2. It would end US sovereignty over its own food supply by insisting on compliance with the WTO, thus threatening national security.

3. It would allow the government, under Maritime Law, to define the introduction of any food into commerce (even direct sales between individuals) as smuggling into “the United States.”

4. It imposes Codex Alimentarius on the US, a global system of control over food.

5. It would remove the right to clean, store and thus own seed in the US, putting control of seeds in the hands of Monsanto and other multinationals, threatening US security.

6. It includes NAIS, an animal traceability program that threatens all small farmers and ranchers raising animals.

7. It extends a failed and destructive HACCP to all food, thus threatening to do to all local food production and farming what HACCP did to meat production – put it in corporate hands and worsen food safety.

8. It deconstructs what is left of the American economy.

9. It would allow the government to mandate antibiotics, hormones, slaughterhouse waste, pesticides and GMOs.

10. It uses food crimes as the entry into police state power and control. "

Another professional snake-speaker....pretty typical politician. He talks about this being tagged onto something which might harm civil liberties...or that's the implication.

"Take a look at a pretty thorough rundown on the recent GMO amendment. There were many more problems with it, including the potential the FDA could have assumed broad new rulemaking authority if this badly written amendment had passed."

Well...why not mention exactly what the FDA could do with the new legislation besides being made accountable to the consumers? Why not paraphrase a little of that amendment and show us the problem?

Knowing what on earth one is eating should be a basic Right....and it seems he's turning this around to make it sound as if its removing rights.

It was our intention to save seeds as well...this is the first time its been possible with any practical volume of seed. When we searched for heirloom seeds to buy, what was particularly alarming was that it was almost impossible to find heirloom corn seed. Whether these varieties are nearly extinct or have been hoarded and kept from the general public, i foresee a near future when they are entirely gone except for those in the hands of a few people who took care to keep them.

Thank you, Barry..i will be looking at that ..

I think a great ploy for the antichirst to use would be affiliating himself with an anti-NWO position. I'm not saying I believe that I know Ron Paul or someone like that could be him, but I do think whoever it is will seem to be everything he's not.

"Monsanto buys leading bee research firm after being implicated in bee colony collapse

Amid all the controversy over genetically-modified (GM) crops and their pesticides and herbicides decimating bee populations all around the world, biotechnology behemoth Monsanto has decided to buy out one of the major international firms devoted to studying and protecting bees. According to a company announcement, Beeologics handed over the reins to Monsanto back on September 28, 2011, which means the gene-manipulating giant will now be able to control the flow of information and products coming from Beeologics for colony collapse disorder (CCD)."

Monsanto enters pharmaceutical business, acquires key 'gene silencing' technology for use in humans

"...In a nutshell, Alnylam specializes in a technology known as RNA interference (RNAi) that involves deliberately silencing the expression of genes throughout the body for the purpose of preventing the production of proteins that some scientists believe are responsible for causing disease. By artificially blocking production of these proteins, RNAi technology is believed to have the potential to effectively block the development of disease, which is why many major drug companies have also signed on as strategic partners with Alnylam.

But Monsanto is an agricultural company, not a pharmaceutical company, which begs the obvious question as to why this multinational company has suddenly decided to shell out nearly $30 million with promises of perpetual royalty payments to gain access to this emerging technology. As it turns out, Monsanto has plans to roll out all sorts of new genetically-modified (GM) crops, crop pesticides and herbicides, and various other technologies with built-in RNAi modifications, which could turn future GM food crops into "drugs."..."

"...But such experimental gene-tampering is already taking place elsewhere, and it is proving to be a complete failure. In Australia, for instance, field trials of a novel variety of GM wheat with RNAi alterations have been disastrous, as the modified gene expressions in the wheat are also modifying human genes in the liver. Researchers are now warning that human children who eat this GM wheat could actually die before reaching the age of five. (http://www.naturalnews.com)..."

"...Researchers from Nanjing University in China recently conducted an unrelated study that found gene-altering properties in regular, non-GMO rice. It turns out that certain plant-based foods, or perhaps all of them, contain unique properties that naturally turn genes on or off throughout the body when ingested, depending on these foods' various nutritive functions. (http://www.theatlantic.com)

Synthetically altering these functions in the form of RNAi-modified GM crops, in other words, could result in disastrous consequences as the entire human genome is thrown off balance. As Ari Levaux from The Atlantic puts it, the discovery of food's natural gene-altering capacities illustrates how GM foods, and particularly those that have been RNAi-modified, "could influence human health in previously unanticipated ways."

In other words, Monsanto's latest endeavors involve tampering with plants at their most elemental level, which will in turn tamper with humans at their most elemental level as well. Sure, Monsanto has been inserting, removing, and splicing the genes of plants for decades; but RNAi modifications involve essentially reprogramming the way plants express their genes, which is uncharted territory as far as the consequences to the environment and humanity are concerned."

DuPont Sends in Former Cops to Enforce Seed Patents: Commodities

"DuPont Co. (DD), the world’s second- biggest seed company, is sending dozens of former police officers across North America to prevent a practice generations of farmers once took for granted.

The provider of the best-selling genetically modified soybean seed is looking for evidence of farmers illegally saving them from harvests for replanting next season, which is not allowed under sales contracts. The Wilmington, Delaware-based company is inspecting Canadian fields and will begin in the U.S. next year, said Randy Schlatter, a DuPont senior manager

DuPont is protecting its sales of Roundup Ready soybeans, so called because they tolerate being sprayed by Monsanto Co. (MON)’s Roundup herbicide. For years enforcement was done by Monsanto, which created Roundup Ready and dominates the $13.3 billion biotech seed industry, though it’s moving on to a new line of seeds now that patents are expiring. That leaves DuPont to play the bad guy, enforcing alternative patents so cheaper “illegal beans” don’t get planted.."

"Monsanto controls about 28 percent of the soybean market in the U.S., the largest producer and exporter last year, while Dupont has about 36 percent. The weed-killer tolerant seeds and related licenses generated $1.77 billion in sales for Monsanto in the year through August, 13 percent of the company’s total. DuPont had $1.37 billion in soybean revenue last year, 3.6 percent of total sales, according to data compiled by Bloomberg.

The grain is used to make animal feed, cooking oil, tofu and biofuels, and it’s the biggest crop after corn in the U.S. .."

Monsanto to receive huge government bailout from European Union

"After unloading tens of millions of dollars to defeat the historic California Proposition 37 to label genetically-modified organisms (GMOs), biotechnology abomination Monsanto is now set to receive a multi-million dollar bailout from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), a London-based financial group connected to the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund (IMF), to cover a slew of financial losses incurred by the evil corporation throughout Europe...

"The whole charade is a nauseating replay of the so-called "too big to fail" financial bailouts of 2008, which were initiated following the subprime mortgage collapse that helped trigger the largest economic fallout in the U.S. in nearly 100 years. Just like what happened with the big banks responsible for causing the housing crisis that led to the economic collapse, Monsanto, whose very existence relies on the public not knowing that its products are secretly added to food, is being bailed out by taxpayers, the vast majority of which disapprove of the unlabeled presence of GMOs in the food supply.

"Monsanto clearly occupies a favored position," explained reporter Gary Franchi from WHDT World News in Boston during a recent segment on Monsanto, GMOs, Prop. 37, and the E.U. bailout situation. "[Monsanto] can spend roughly $40 million to defeat a GMO ban in California, then receive the same amount in U.S. taxpayer-funded European bailout money to offset the cost of GMO bans overseas."

Monsanto would fail if it wasn't for government-sanctioned secrecy and 'too big to fail' bailouts
What is most disturbing about this recent development; however, is not necessarily the fact that Monsanto has clearly garnered for itself a cozy position in the "too big to fail" category of multinational corporations, but rather that Monsanto's very existence is predicated on both secrecy and forced subsidization using money stolen from people that do not even support GMOs. As far as Europe is concerned, the vast majority of the public openly opposes GMOs, and yet taxpayer funds are being used to prop up Monsanto's business ventures there..."

"U.S. dairy industry petitions FDA to approve aspartame as hidden, unlabeled additive in milk, yogurt, eggnog and cream

You probably already know that the FDA has declared war on raw milk and even helped fund and coordinate armed government raids against raw milk farmers and distributors. Yes, it's insane. This brand of tyranny is unique to the USA and isn't even conducted in China, North Kora or Cuba. Only in the USA are raw milk farmers treated like terrorists.

But now the situation is getting even more insane than you could have imagined: the International Dairy Foods Association (IDFA) and the National Milk Producers Federation (NMPF) have filed a petition with the FDA asking the FDA to alter the definition of "milk" to secretly include chemical sweeteners such as aspartame and sucralose.

Importantly, none of these additives need to be listed on the label. They will simply be swept under the definition of "milk," so that when a company lists "milk" on the label, it automatically includes aspartame or sucralose. And if you're trying to avoid aspartame, you'll have no way of doing so because it won't be listed on the label.

This isn't only for milk, either: It's also for yogurt, cream, sour cream, eggnog, whipping cream and a total of 17 products, all of which are listed in the petition at FDA.gov.

As the petition states:

IDFA and NMPF request their proposed amendments to the milk standard of identity to allow optional characterizing flavoring ingredients used in milk (e.g., chocolate flavoring added to milk) to be sweetened with any safe and suitable sweetener -- including non-nutritive sweeteners such as aspartame.

This is all being done to "save the children," we're told, because the use of aspartame in milk products would reduce calories.

Milk industry specifically asks to HIDE aspartame from consumers
Astonishingly, the dairy industry is engaged in extreme doublespeak logic and actually arguing that aspartame should be hidden from consumers by not listing it on the label. Here's what the petition says:

IDFA and NMPF argue that nutrient content claims such as "reduced calorie" are not attractive to children, and maintain that consumers can more easily identify the overall nutritional value of milk products that are flavored with non-nutritive sweeteners if the labels do not include such claims. Further, the petitioners assert that consumers do not recognize milk -- including flavored milk -- as necessarily containing sugar. Accordingly, the petitioners state that milk flavored with non-nutritive sweeteners should be labeled as milk without further claims so that consumers can "more easily identify its overall nutritional value."

In other words, hiding aspartame from consumers by not including it on the label actually helps consumers, according to the IDFA and NMPF!

Yep, consumers are best served by keeping them ignorant. If this logic smacks of the same kind of twisted deception practiced by Monsanto, that's because it's identical: the less consumers know, the more they are helped, according to industry. And it's for the children, too, because children are also best served by keeping them poisoned with aspartame..."

Xylitol is a low calorie, low glycemic index sweetener. It has some, but much less than sugar. About 7 on the glycemic index for xylitol and 100 for sugar. It's also good for dental health.

"Sadly, it's expensive. I honestly believe the reason these things are so high is a control issue to get us to buy chemicals"

That's actually true

Leaky gut, Candida overgrowth, allergies and Autism spectrum issues are all connected. They get started by way of a toxic gut environment. That can be set off in early infancy by vaccines or from a continual diet of foods that aren't natural to the system.

Grains have quite a bit to do with some of these problems. Most grain products sold are old, fungus infested and/or processed, are GMO or contaminated with GMO.

Most have grain as their dietary foundation and that is what is supported by this society and economy, but it's not a "natural" diet in the sense of how people were made to eat.

The so-called food pyramid might be upside down really. I would say that you should try eliminating all bread, all grain derived food of any kind from your diet as well as sugar and see how much better you feel. Yeast thrives on carbohydrates and sugars. It will continue to thrive even when you remove sugar because of the simple carbohydrates.

You might even benefit very much by trying a ketogenic diet for a few months. That is a diet i have suggested to others who have recently had some of the same issues with leaky gut and digestive trouble. A ketogenic diet is high in meat and animal fat (which is very good for you contrary to what you've heard), dairy, fish, eggs, poultry and very small amounts of fruit and vegetables (less than 20 carbs a day), but absolutely no grains. This creates an atmosphere of fat burning in the body which begins to put right these other symptoms which can also include insuline insensitivity and estrogen dominance in women.

That feeling you have of being drunk after eating is exactly that. The yeast, sugar and grain combine and ferment in a digestive tract that is unable to properly digest it, producing alcohol, and you do literally become drunk, just as if you'd had several beers.

Systemic pesticides are penetrating deep into plants tissues, destroying beetles, trees, bees, and human hormones

"Over the last 30 years, the use of pesticides has spiked around the world. People now pour 2.5 million tons of these chemicals into the environment annually, contributing to a $35 billion industry run by global corporations. To make matters worse, the more people use pesticides, the more ineffective they become.

Why are crop yields lost to insects greater than ever before, when pesticide use is at an all time high?
Take a look at the citrus greening crisis happening in places like Florida and California. Citrus greening is a disease spread by the psyllid insect. This insect contaminates citrus trees by leaving a trail of bacteria that ultimately kills the trees. Florida is currently witnessing a 10 percent reduction in produce because of this.

Problems like these exist because pesticides are killing beneficial insects, like lady beetles, that were created to feasts on pests like psyllids. By killing lady beetles, pesticides destroy a balanced ecosystem.

Pesticides are ravaging the environment. Farmers and researchers are now witnessing the death of entire bee colonies because of pesticides. Billions of bees are disappearing from their natural environment, as they cannot handle the poisonous nectar they're pollinating from contaminated flowers.

Systemic pesticides use on the rise
Some people are completely aware of pesticides' ability to disrupt the thyroid, adrenal and pituitary glands. These glands control hormones in the human body which guide the development, growth, gender, behavior, and reproductive systems.

That's why some people wash their fruit and vegetables before eating them. The sad reality is that pesticides exist not only as residue, but are also pent up and stored inside plant tissues. In fact, systemic pesticide use is on the rise. These chemicals, first used in 1998, have now spread to most of the conventional food supply. Systemic pesticides travel from the soil and are absorbed into vegetation, moving through the xylem and extending into the leaves and flowers, where they infect pollen and nectar. Four classes of pesticides have become commonplace and include imidacloprids, which are applied to vegetables like tomatoes and leafy greens. Thiamethoxam is typically used as seed "treatment" for corn, but is now applied to soil for fruit and vegetables. Clothianidin is also a seed contaminant, used on canola, cereals, sugar beets, and potatoes. Dinotefuran is either applied to soil or sprayed directly on leafy greens, including cucumber crops..."

Orwell Reigns Over Raw Milk Trial

"The trial of Vernon Hershberger for the crime of selling healthy, unprocessed milk to informed and willing customers is a sadly damning commentary on the times in which we currently live.

This humble yet learned Amish farmer faces the ruin of his farm, his family, and jail time in a trial that highlights the utter depravity of the so-called authorities who claim the right to rule over the rest of us.

Over and over thugs raided the peaceful Hershberger's farm, destroying his property and terrorizing his ten children. His crime was selling a product that has been consumed from time immemorial and which thousands upon thousands of families (including this writer's) increasingly swear by as healthful and wholesome: unprocessed, fresh milk.

Hershberger was caught up in a hell of Kafka's worst nightmare:

"The state is arguing that Hershberger violated the law by selling milk (raw) while he was not licensed. But here's the problem: licensing requires that milk producers sell to a licensed processing plant. If you don't sell to a plant, you aren't licensed. At issue is not the fact that Hershberger failed to obtain a license, but that he cannot get a license, period, to sell milk because he was no longer shipping to a plant. Instead, he was attempting to sell raw milk directly to buyers or buying club 'members' who had purchased shares in cows. But no one is allowed to say that."

His trial is a repulsive, Darkness at Noon, mockery of justice, where the judge forbade the words "raw milk" from even being uttered in the courtroom where the very "crime" is that Hershberger sold raw milk to willing customers! Every time this forbidden phrase was about to come out of the mouth of either side in the trial, the judge ordered the jury to be quickly removed from the courtroom to protect them from even hearing this dangerous term.

California raw milk entrepreneur and activist Mark McAfee was forbidden from entering the courtroom due to a mere suggestion of the banned term:

"McAfee was not allowed to wear his organic pastures t shirt in the courtroom because of its reference to raw milk."

A woman wearing a t-shirt that read "Got Initiative" was likewise banned because of the milk implication of her chosen attire.

A teen-aged girl was forced by the court to remove a button that simply said “Raw Milk Me.”

Hershberger's children were forced to listen to the dedicated father that they no-doubt idolized being portrayed as a dangerous criminal for selling unadulterated, natural, healthy, chemical-free meat and dairy products to grateful customers.

Here is an actual exchange between a defense witness, the defense attorney, the prosecuting attorney, and the judge:

Defense testimony from one of Vernon Hershberger's buying club members since 2004, Joseph Plasterer, as to how he came to seek out farm's food.

Plasterer: "We were looking for some natural milk sources, in early 2004."

Defense lawyer: Did you come and meet the Hershbergers?

Plasterer: "Yes. We asked if we could be part of the farm…

Defense: Did you have a reason?

Plasterer: "My son was not thriving…"

    Prosecution: "Objection!"

    Judge Guy Reynolds: "Sustained"

Plasterer: "We wanted access to unprocessed food that was higher quality that would not be available from the stores."

    Prosecution: "Objection!'"

Judge Reynolds: "Sustained. Strike the answer. The jury is to ignore that."

As it happens, we took a brief break today to travel to a rural farm not far from the artificiality of suburban life to pick fresh strawberries from a young farm family that was trying to transform their 100 year old family farm to meet the exploding demand for fresh, wholesome, local food. They set aside some of their barley fields to grow fresh local produce with no chemical applications. But the county, they informed us, had fought them every step of the way. Their planned farm shop was delayed at least a year (at enormous financial loss) due to bureaucratic resistance to their wishes. Any value-added product is strictly forbidden, forcing them to only sell the peach rather than a delicious pie made from the raw materials. It is absolutely inhuman..."
