Special army unit ready to be deployed on American soil just before Nov.
elections (Update)

Note:  An update has been posted at the end of the article.

In October of this year, one month prior to the November midterm elections, a special army unit known as 'Consequence Management Response Force' will be ready for deployment on American soil if so ordered by the President.

(AP Photo/David Longstreath). www.examiner.com/ShowPhoto.cfm%3Ffilename%3Dd289bb6c-f9d1-417b-963a...;;[AQE]" border="0" width="1" height="1"/>

The special force, which is the new name being given to the 1st Brigade Combat Team of the 3rd Infantry, has been training at Fort Stewart, Georgia and is composed of 80,000 troops.

According to the Army Times,

They may be called upon to help with civil unrest and crowd control or to deal with potentially horrific scenarios such as massive poisoning and chaos in response to a chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear or high-yield
explosive, or CBRNE, attack.

The key phrase is 'may be called upon to help with civil unrest.'

This afternoon a local radio talk show host reported that he had been in contact with a member of the military.  This military source stated that the armed forces have been alerted to the strong possibility that civil unrest may
occur in the United States this summer, prior to the midterm elections of
2010.

The source described this as 'our long, hot summer of discontent' that could be eerily reminiscent of the summer of 1968 when riots broke out in many of our largest cities.

However, the summer of 2010 could well be much worse due to the players involved.  In 1968 the major players were war protesters.  This time, the outrage simmering beneath the surface of American society involves a broad
cross-section of the heartland, and most of them are heavily armed.

It is highly unlikely that these citizens would ever initiate armed conflict of any kind.  In their view, gun rights are for self-defense--and for defense against tyrannical government, which our Founders regarded as the most dangerous
force on earth.

However, it has become clear that other groups may well initiate violence in order to start an 'incident' that would give Obama and a rogue Congress a reason to implement martial law, confiscate the citizens' guns,
enforce curfews, and suspend all future elections until such time as it is
deemed 'safe' to proceed with human liberty as encapsulated in the right to
vote.

Tea Party members, for example, have been warned in recent days that members of Andy Stern's SEIU union and members of the organization formerly known as ACORN plan to infiltrate Tea Party gatherings in order to
incite some sort of incident that could result in armed conflict
.

In addition, all indications point to a humiliating defeat for the Democrats and Obama in November.  Not only will the House in all likelihood transfer to Republican control, but it is increasingly possible for the Democrats to lose
the Senate as well.

And there are Leftwing groups in this country that would use whatever means necessary to prevent that from happening.

ACORN has already gone underground, changing its name so as to fly beneath the radar screen.  How many people will  the group register to vote illegally?

And with Obama's plan to naturalize between 10 and 20 million illegal aliens, a brand new voter base for the Democrats will be in place prior to November.

Add to this the growing unrest over continued high unemployment, the coming spike in interest rates and inflation, and the still-boiling outrage over the manner in which Obama and the Democrats shoved ObamaCare down the throats of the
citizens, and all of the ingredients are present for a major F-5 tornado to
sweep across the heartland.

To what extent would soldiers use deadly force during such 'civil unrest' should the Consequence Management Response Team be utilized?  During the anti-war riots of the 1960s they killed student protesters.  What about now?

The military source cited by the radio host today was asked this very question.  He would merely say that the culture of the U.S. military is changing--half support Obama and the other half are dead-set against him.

His conclusion?  There is no way to know for sure if they would obey an order to open fire on ordinary citizens.

Update:  The Cato Institute published this warning when the program was launched in its first phase in 2008 (the program has been updated and expanded since 2008).   The Founders insisted that standing armies
were never to be used against American citizens on our own soil, no matter what
violations of this principle have occurred in the years following.  In the
spirit of the Patriots and of real journalists government must be questioned
constantly and held to intense scrutiny in order to preserve liberty.

I read this article and the first thing that came to mind was the Wikileaks expose showing the soldiers shooting innocent civilians. What makes them any different from you? 80 Thousand troops training, who knows how many from foreign nations poised to assist? The beginning has begun. Is it time to fill your oil lamp? It is past time to trust totally in YHWH.

i have heard many times recently the theory that there will perhaps be no elections in the coming November. it is beginning to seem as if they realize how dangerous the growing awareness of people is to their plans and between now and this fall would be a very likely period of time in which they might create some disaster for which they would call martial law necessary.

Obama has begun talking about domestic terrorists with nuclear weapons. in reality such an idea is logically pretty ridiculous but this might make me wonder if the sort of disaster they would like to create will involve a nuclear device. they do not enjoy their plans being guessed and spoken about before they accomplish them and if that occurs they often change their plans, so now is a very good time to discern and talk about all that they might decide to do in the near future.

they are beginning to really look at people who are doing just what we are here. posting information on the internet that exposes their intentions. we have become terrorists in their eyes for doing nothing more than making our opinions known that we are not in agreement with the evil they are doing and planning to do. the truth is terrorism to them because their establishment stands on lies.

"A major Anti-Defamation League report goes further than ever before in an effort to purge the Internet of all dissent, listing completely non-violent criticism of Obamacare posted on Internet forums as a reason to conduct a “major law enforcement operation” against opponents of big government and health care reform.

The ADL’s April 2010 report is entitled, “Violent Voices: Anti-Government Extremism Takes on New Intensity,” and consists largely of lists of comments culled from alternative news websites and forums, as well as Fox News.

“During the first few months of 2010, anti-government extremism has taken on a new level of intensity in the United States. The arrests of the Hutaree militia in Michigan illustrate this passion, which exists both within and outside the militia movement. Unfortunately, the Hutaree arrests may come to be seen not as the culmination, but rather as a first step in what may need to become a major national law enforcement operation,” states the introduction (emphasis mine).

Such words are chilling bearing in mind that the infamous MIAC report, which listed gun owners, Ron Paul supporters, libertarians and people who fly U.S. flags alongside neo-nazis and terrorists, was partly based on information provided to the Missouri Information Analysis Center by both the ADL and the Southern Poverty Law Center.

According to the ADL, a “major law enforcement operation” may be needed because Americans are upset that “health care reform effort is in fact key to evil efforts to implement a tyrannical government by any means necessary.”"

Even more "practice" , Now they've brought the Marines along.

FDNY teams with Marines to stage mock suicide bomb, poison gas attacks

Fevelo for NewsFirefighters and Marines simulate a bus bombing.
They staged the unthinkable.
The city's fire department teamed up with Marines Thursday morning to respond to simultaneous mock suicide bomber and poison gas attacks.
An FDNY team raced around the mangled shell of an MTA bus, herding wounded "victims" to a triage area as real fire burned in the street.
Other rescue workers raced to pull victims from crushed cars turned on their sides or upside down. About 100 firefighters joined 100 marines in the chillingly realistic exercise at the FDNY Fire Academy on Randall's Island.
In a replica of a city subway platform filled with haze, dozens of faux victims screamed for help as they lay among mangled dummies representing the dead.
In a disturbing reminder of the dangers of their job, one dummy with a severed leg wore an FDNY uniform. "We can't see," subway victims screamed.
"Just get me out of here!"
Some victims pretended they didn't understand English, forcing rescuers to communicate using hand signs. The emergency workers in full body suits and gas masks led them outside to a yellow decontamination tent, where Marines hosed and sponged them down.
"I got stepped on a couple times," said Josh Wylie, 23, of Long Beach, LI, an EMT trainee who played the part of a gravely injured gas attack victim.
"The situation felt real."
Fire Commissioner Salvatore Cassano said the point of the drill was for firefighters and Marines to share expertise and to learn to work more closely together.
Earlier in the week, firefighters worked with West Point cadets responding to the aftermath of a simulated earthquake.
"When they finish this, they'll be tired, worn out, just like they were working a real-life incident," Cassano said. "If there's another event in the city, we'll be prepared."
The Marines were part of the Chemical Biological Incident Response Force, an elite unit stationed in Indian Head, MD.
Several members are New Yorkers.
"It feels good being back home," said Sgt. Joe Vargas, 23, of East New York, Brooklyn.
"Whatever this country, or New York, needs, we're going to be there."

"Whatever this country, or New York, needs, we're going to be there." That quote is eerie and may serve as a warning.
It's so difficult for me to imagine the public in general not taking note of such a large number of drills. Of course the regular media is not going to mention them and in spite of more people waking up, i realize it's a long haul to anything close to majority...it would just seem to me that, reasonably, are there not so many drills about to take place that a great number of people will be Somewhere that one is going on? It might well be the case that a show of brazen force like this is a message people are supposed to interpret something like this : "We don't really care what you think or do at this point, we're coming to get you."

well...stand fast people, it's a good time to have The Rock as your foundation.
It can feel like screaming in a sound-proof room, trying to impress upon people how dangerous the rising myth of "homegrown terrorism" really is. If you disagree with the government and their policies, with socialized health care, invasion of privacy, etc...you're in the cross hairs. The PTB are busy weaving their tales of how you are a racist..an extremist..you more than likely build bombs in your basement and you're most assuredly emotionally unstable.

Plenty of us know it's a hoax..but just as propaganda has always had a very successful history with the general populace, there is a very good chance that this growing distaste for all liberty activism has begun to sway the public opinion into the realm of suspicion and distrust of those who oppose anything coming out of DC.

And how about the military? Well at this moment it seems they are being trained to "deal" with liberty activists. Do we think that American forces would actually fire upon it's own citizenry? If the general populace is under the bombardment of brain-washing tactics, it is surely the case that the military devotes itself to incorporating certain mind sets in it's trainees on a constant basis. If some of these individuals are capable of committing the acts which were exposed by Wikileaks (the gunning down of a Reuters employee and two children) how should we not expect that the same sort of brutal, inhuman approach would not be taken against the people right here?

I can't say it enough...the activists in favor of a lawful, constitutionally abiding country need to put themselves to fighting back against this twisted concept of them that is showing it's ugly face all over the mainstream media.

"In a shocking development that outstrips even the infamous MIAC report, it has emerged via whistleblowers that the U.S. Military in Kentucky is training to confront Tea Party protesters and anti-government demonstrators, who in official intelligence advisories are described as bomb-making terrorists."

From the US Department of Homeland Security official document: (U//FOUO) Rightwing Extremism: Current Economic and Political Climate Fueling Resurgence in Radicalization and Recruitment http://www.fas.org/irp/eprint/rightwing.pdf

"(U) Economic Hardship and Extremism
(U//FOUO) Historically, domestic rightwing extremists have feared, predicted, and
anticipated a cataclysmic economic collapse in the United States. Prominent
antigovernment conspiracy theorists have incorporated aspects of an impending
economic collapse to intensify fear and paranoia among like-minded individuals and to
attract recruits during times of economic uncertainty. Conspiracy theories involving
declarations of martial law, impending civil strife or racial conflict, suspension of the
U.S. Constitution, and the creation of citizen detention camps often incorporate aspects of
a failed economy. Antigovernment conspiracy theories and “end times” prophecies could
motivate extremist individuals and groups to stockpile food, ammunition, and weapons.
These teachings also have been linked with the radicalization of domestic extremist
individuals and groups in the past, such as violent Christian Identity organizations and
extremist members of the militia movement.

(U//FOUO) A number of law enforcement actions and external factors were effective in
limiting the militia movement during the 1990s and could be utilized in today’s climate.

— (U//FOUO) Following the 1995 bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah federal
building in Oklahoma City, the militia movement declined in total membership
and in the number of organized groups because many members distanced
themselves from the movement as a result of the intense scrutiny militias received
after the bombing.

— (U//FOUO) Militia membership continued to decline after the turn of the
millennium as a result of law enforcement disruptions of multiple terrorist plots
linked to violent rightwing extremists, new legislation banning paramilitary
training, and militia frustration that the “revolution” never materialized.

— (U//FOUO) Although the U.S. economy experienced a significant recovery and
many perceived a concomitant rise in U.S. standing in the world, white
supremacist groups continued to experience slight growth."

Please notice this: The document first sites "a number of law enforcement actions and external factors were Effective in limiting the militia movement."

The first example given is the attack on the Murrah Federal building in Oklahoma. Perhaps you can see the very subtle admission that has been made here.
good observation.. really drives home the meaning of the slogan 'all the world's a stage.'

Meet the North Dakota family of anti-government separatists busted by cops using a Predator drone... after 'stealing six cows'

Meet the Brossarts, a North Dakota family deemed so dangerous that the local sheriff needed unleashed an unmanned Predator drone to help bring them in.

The Brossart's alleged crime? They wouldn't give back three cows and their calves that wandered onto their 3,000-acre farm this summer.

The same aerial vehicles used by the CIA to track down and assassinate terrorists and militants in Pakistan and Afghanistan are now being deployed by cops to spy on Americans in their own backyards.

The Brossarts are the first known subjects of the high-flying new surveillance technology that the federal government has made available to some local sheriffs and police chiefs - all without Congressional approval or search warrants.

Local authorities say the Brossarts are known for being armed, anti-government separatists whose sprawling farm is used as a compound. Rodney Brossart, 55, and his wife Susan live in a house and a trailer and two RVs with seven of their eight adult children.

When the cattle wandered onto the Brossarts' land, Sheriff Kelly Janke, who patrols a county of just 3,000 people, rounded up some sheriff's deputies and arrested Mr Brossart for failing to report the stray livestock.

They also took away his daughter, Abby, after she allegedly hit an officer during the arrest.

When cops returned to collect the lost cattle, three of Brossart's sons - Alex, Jacob and Thomas - confronted Sheriff Janke with rifles and shotguns and would not allow officers on the farm.

That's when the sheriff summoned a $154 million MQ-9 Predator B drone from nearby Grand Forks Air Force Base, where it was patrolling the US-Canida border for the US Department of Homeland Security.

Using a handheld device that picked up the video camera footage from the spy plane, Sheriff Janke was able to watch the movements of everyone on the farm.

During an 16-hour standoff, the sheriff and his deputies waited until they could see the remaining Brossarts put down their weapons. Then, dressed in SWAT gear, they stormed the compound and arrested the three Brossart sons. No shots were fired.

Susan Brossart, the matriarch of the clan, was later arrested, as well.

Police also recovered the cattle, valued at $6,000.

They face several felony charges and have repeatedly not shown up for court after posting $250,000 bail.

US Customs and Border Protection agents fly eight Predator remote-controlled aircraft to patrol the American borders with Canada and Mexico, searching for smugglers and illegal immigrants.

But increasingly, the federal government and local police agencies are using those drones to spy criminal suspects in America with sophisticated high-resolution cameras, heat sensors and radar. All of it comes without a warrant.

Allowing local sheriffs and police chiefs access to spy planes happened without public discussion or the approval of Congress. And it has privacy advocates crying foul, saying the unregulated use of the drones is intrusive.

'There is no question that this could become something that people will regret,' former Rep Jane Harman, a Democrat, told the Los Angles Times.

The sheriff says that might not have been possible without the intelligence from the Predators.

'We don't have to go in guns blazing. We can take our time and methodically plan out what our approach should be,' Sheriff Janke told the Times.

All of the surveillance occurred without a search warrant because the Supreme Court has long ruled that anything visible from the air, even if it's on private property, can be subject to police spying.

However, privacy experts say that predator drones, which can silently fly for 20 hours nonstop, dramatically surpasses the spying power that any police helicopter or airplane can achieve.

Anti-government

Separatists

Compound

Three words used by the serpent-speakers to create a particular image in the public mind.

Does anyone have an idea as to what a solo anti-government person that only has Jesus standing by their side, be classified as ?

The most dangerous element??

"The most dangerous element??"

Indeed, at least by the government's standards...
